Today I’m doing things I never thought possible. I am fitting scleral contact lenses based more on what technology is telling me more than what my own eye is seeing. I would have never believed it possible when I started fitting scleral lenses 12 years ago. At this past last year’s Global Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS), we had several posters highlighting the use of OCT technology to aid in our contact lens fitting, one of them put an observer up against his OCT.
